As guys, there’s a ton that we do to conceal things that we love.   The reason we conceal this things is maintain our “manliness.”  You know, stuff like preventing ourselves from crying during gushy moments in movies or admitting that we like cute little puppies or kittens.

So much of our time is spent doing this that we sometimes miss the chance to really enjoy stuff.   And I’m here to put an end to it.  I’d like to start coming up with more and more “girly” lists of things I admit I like.

Heaven is a Place on Earth – Belinda Carlisle

I don’t know man.  When I hear this song I just want to get up and do something with my life.   Plus I love that little trembling sound that Carlisle makes.

Lucky Star – Madonna

Hell if the Bullet Tooth Tony in Snatch can hear this song and say “I love this track” then so can I.  After all he’s a hardcore killer gangster.   Admit it, this song rocks.

Tell it To My Heart – Taylor Dayne

Remember when Taylor Dayne was popular?  Everyone used to think that she was black because of her voice.   Just like Rick Astley when he first came out.   Black or white, her voice was amazing and this song was a nice representative of that.

She’s got the Look – Roxette

Oh come on, how could you not love this song?  Nah nah nah nah……

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun – Cyndi Lauper

Any guy that says he doesn’t like this song is kind of a liar.
