Conspiracy Theory of the Week…..
Jeremy Lin is thrilled that fellow sensation Tim Tebow is now a Jet. “It’s awesome. I’m just excited for him and to see what he does,” Lin said after delivering a huge fourth quarter in the Knicks’ 82-79 win over the 76ers last night. “We’ll see what happens next year, but I’m excited obviously that he’s going to be in New York.” Lin said he was not in touch with Tebow yesterday during the trade-talk frenzy involving the Jets and Broncos, revealing that he doesn’t have a close relationship with the quarterback. Of course, that could change after Tebow begins Tebow-ing with Gang Green.
I’m going to catch hell for this one, but don’t act like you weren’t thinking it too. I mean, I get it – Two good guys, two media-crazes, two virgins in New York it’s going to attract headlines. However, why would Tebow pick the Jets? Why? He has absolutely zero in common with the team, he’s going to be a backup and he could have went somewhere and been a starter – see Jacksonville. I get it, but I don’t get it, but I get it.. Hate on me all you want, but you were thinking the same thing.
