Six Professionals All Homeowners Need at Some Point
The HVAC Guy
You might not have heating or air conditioning problems but it’s also best to be cautious in these matters. A couple hundred bucks a year could save you thousands as long as you’re maintaining your systems. You don’t want to have to replace them all. That’s the kiss of death.
The Painter
At some point you’re gonna need a room painted and unless someone in your family professionally painted I highly recommend you find yourself a good, reliable, and reasonable painter. After all that paint job should last you for years and years.
The Landscaper
Unless you live in a condo or townhouse community you’ll at some point need a landscaper. I’m not saying you can’t do it yourself. I”m saying that it’s inevitable you’ll have a larger job you can’t handle at some point. Like you might need a tree taken out or new bushes put in. Stuff like that. Or you just might need a weekly gardener.

don’t forget to call the general contractor to rebuild your house after that “handy man guy” burns your house down with his half assed electrical skills ………………….. ELECTRICIAN should have been first on your list
Bob, I don’t think it was in order… and handy guys usually are general contractors.. though if you want to get TECHNICAL… if you are rebuilding your home, you can legally be placed as a general contractors.
I am going with screw the list just about everything but HVAC you can do by yourself and your going to do a better job then almost all of them because you care about your house and they care about getting paid which means getting as many jobs as possible so spend the least amount of time at each and HVAC maintains you can all but do your self and even if you dont you should know how to do it so they can’t/don’t screw you

being your own GC for most people would be like a doctor preforming open heart on his self…… not a good idea
