As many of you know by now, Beavis and Butthead is back and it’s definitely just as good if not better than before.   We’re about 5 episodes in and the show just keeps rocking.   I hope this time around newer flocks of people take to these two characters as much as I did back in the day.

Also, I”m hoping another movie comes out as their first was definitely worth seeing.

Anyway, looks like folks are already back in the swing of things with their art depictions of Beavis and Butthead….

Behold, one of the best movie spy shots in history. Daniel Day Lewis was spotted eating at a restaurant by an intrepid fan with a really good camera.

He’s in full costume for Steven Spielberg’s Lincoln movie, and this is the first shot of him that’s been seen by the public.

What do you think about the look for Lewis here? A bit creepy yeah, but totally accurate I’d say.

The NBA’s officially back starting Christmas Day. Since Santa’s stuffing the players into our stockings, there’s only one way to thank Jolly Ol’ Nick… By tossing him an assist on why we’re actually stoked to get those overpaid and complaining millionaires back on the court.

Let’s face it, you’ve still got work to do on that jumper, so the best thing that can happen is letting the professionals handle the ball, while we pay $8/beer and sit in the nosebleeds.

Patrice O’Neal was a pretty hilarious stand-up comedian that died this week. He was a great guy, and many of you might remember him from his Comedy Central special that you can see above.

It’s a good clip that represents the kind of comic he was, and I’m sure he’s doing stand-up in heaven right about now, opening for George Carlin.

One of the nicest things about posting sexy women is that there are endless supplies of companies out there that sell their products by use of advertising said product with attractive females.

Clothing companies are a no brainer and thankfully I ran across a company called 45surf. They seem to be a combo of both clothing and photography.  More importantly there are attractive amateur girls who pose on rocks and surf and what not.

I saw an interesting article on Gigaom about using Linkedin Productively.   While the article shared some good points I think it was unnecessary to demonstrate 20 uses of the career social network.   Honestly a lot of people use Linkedin for the wrong reasons.   Many people use it like Facebook.  They waste hours looking up ex co-workers to see what they’re doing.

They mess around with it like any other social network.   Oh yeah, and 50% of linked is companies posting jobs.  You know that’s how they make most of their money right?

Anyway, to simplify things, I’ve come up with five good strategies for using Linkedin whether you are job seeker, employee seeker, or someone to expand a business….
