The Seven Websites I “Used” the Most in 2011
Here’s a site that’s pretty addicting but pretty awesome. Pinterest allows you to pick a picture from a website and pin it to your wall by use of a tool that accomplishes this task in about 10 seconds. It’s almost like a Facebook for pictures. There’s social networking, commenting, etc etc. Personally I find it an incredible source for pictures to link to.
It’s about as close to TV channel surfing as you can get. But for me? I use it to do exactly what it claims to do: discover new websites. If I want to find new linking partners or people to simply reach out to, chances are if I Stumble for long enough I’ll wind up finding some sites I normally wouldn’t have found otherwise.
I still use Digg on occasion but it’s more for interesting stories. Reddit on the other hand is a real trend starter. I practically use the site for research not to mention it’s a great place to find stuff before it goes “Viral.”
*and of course I went to Adult sites!
