The Portfolio

I’ve talked about cool weddings before on this site.   After getting married in what was a pretty standard ceremony I’m always interested in seeing what couples come up with.   From the proposals at ballgames to the falling off of docks during the pictures, it’s fun to see how the radical people do it.

Speaking of radical, this couple is awesome.  Instead of just being plain vanilla like the rest of us, they did their whole ceremony on a roller coaster.   Now that’s a rush.

I officially know nothing about the show Big Brother in the U.S. let alone Albania.  However, I do know this.  That whenever a foreign country adopts a reality show of ours, the women on said show tend to be incredibly attractive.

And it’s no different for the cast of Big Brother in Albania.   People have taking a liking to Mimoza Krasniqi and rightfully so.   She’s got that perfect blend of hot and girl next door.   What a find.

First it was Kim Kardashian, and now it’s Zooey Deschanel? It’s raining single ladies now! Yes, Zooey Deschanel has separated from her husband Ben Gibbard, who you might know as the frontman for Death Cab for Cutie. I predict some epic sad songs are about to be written now.

There’s no reason given for the split other than the fact that it’s supposed to be amicable. Sad to be sure, but now all of us men have a .0000001% chance we could be with her, as opposed to a flat 0% chance before.

So, would you pick Kim Kardashian, the epitome of sexy and steamy, or Zooey Deschanel, the epitome of cute and quirky.

Think that  juggling is lame? Yeah, I did too, but that was before I met Francis Brunn, who is universally known as the greatest juggler of all time.

As you’ll see in this video, the man has an amazing set of skills. How the hell do you even discover you have a talent like that? Is there something I”m secretly good at that I’ve just never tried? Maybe I’m the world’s best knitter, I don’t know!

Let’s face it.  It’s November.   Sure many of you might be looking forward to Thanksgiving, I know I am.   But come on.   All I know is that I’m thinking about the brisk air that is upon us.

And frankly I can’t think of too many positives when it comes to cold weather.  Though the great thing about gorgeous girls is that you really don’t need much of a topic.

In fact, hot girls wearing sweaters is more than adequate….

We talk about being thankful all the time.  But unfortunately it’s usually drama or something very horrible that will bring out the best in all of us and make us truly grateful to be alive.   It’s a sad fact of life but when things are going well, there’s always something to complain about, and usually those things aren’t a huge deal.

In fact the things we complain about should be things we are grateful for.  If only we thought that way perhaps things would be much nicer amongst everyone.

With that said, here are five things that usually suck but I’m grateful for them anyway….
