I have suggested in the past that riding the subway in New York City is by far one of most annoying modes of transportation around.  Granted it’s a miracle of construction and it’s a great way to get around, it’s just not worth it most times.

It’s always crowded, there are annoying people, and it can get extremely hot.   Frankly it’s just nasty and I try to avoid it at all costs.  However, once in a while you’ll run into an incredible gem.
