Eight Original Bands I Wish I Could Have Seen Live

Published by at 7:20 am under Editorial,Music

Last night I went to see the band Chicago perform live.   Even though they were without legendary vocalist Peter Cetera it was still an amazing show.  I mean I have to admit I wasn’t too pumped up beforehand but then realizing how many hits they had and the energy they brought to the table, it was pretty cool seeing them in action.

It’s nice to go see a band that still has the passion not to mention musical talent to carry a crowd for two hours.   Which by the way got me thinking about other bands I wouldn’t mind seeing live.

Unfortunately no one can see these original bands live again but it’d be nice if these eight bands could go just one more time…..

Led Zeppelin

Could you imagine seeing these guys in their day?  Honestly I can’t.   This is the kind of music that will invade every single high schooler’s life for decades to come.   I would imagine that Page and Plant along with Bonham must have been insane.

The Beatles

Of all the bands on this list they’re probably the least exciting because they didn’t do much cool shit in concert.  However,  just to see the crowd would have been worth it.

The Who

If only to see Keith Moon and his insane antics on the drums and Pete Townsend going nuts on guitar that would have been reason enough.

Jimi Hendrix Experience

The dude played with his guitar on fire!  I mean come on.

AC/DC

Not that the new AC/DC isn’t awesome but Bon Scott was a total badass.

Bob Marley and the Wailers

Do you realize how much fun a concert like this would have been?

Pink Floyd

From what I’ve heard Pink Floyd is argued time and time again as being the best live show band of all time.   I think it’s because people were stoned and loved the laser light show.

Queen

Freddie Mercury= Pure Energy
