I post a lot of crazy pictures here on Uncoached. It’s actually part of my job description. But this one is even throwing me for a loops. In what circumstance would anyone want to underwater box?

I Googled “underwater boxing” and came up with a few more shots of this bout, but nary a reason to why it actually took place. Is this two humans duking it out to see who becomes a mermaid?

There are many ways to illustrate the differences between the sexes, but I wouldn’t have initially thought a tennis match would be one of them.

But if you think this is going to be some sort of commentary on athletic skill, that’s a far cry from what actually takes place, and you’ll just have to watch the video and find out.

One of my favorite instruments in the world is the piano.   I took lessons for about seven years as a kid and unfortunately stopped.    Currently I own a piano and love playing from time to time.  I do hope that someday I’ll have time to pursue it again.

In any event, now that you’re bored enough with my crappy rant about having and playing piano I shall give you what you’ve been looking for.   And that would be a collection of girls either draped on pianos or around a piano.

The funny thing about kids shows is that the intention of “good” is generally always there.  It’s just that some people have extremely weird ways of showing it.  Hell,  I didn’t have a clue that kids would be obsessed with teletubbies.   Personally those things freak me out but it’s just a testament to the fact that we just can’t possibly measure this stuff.

But if there’s one thing I know.  It’s that certain shows catering to children just cannot have worked.  I mean I refuse to believe it.  And if they did work, I’m sure it was toward helping children become murderers.

Let’s face it, the Summer Olympics will be pretty cool but imagine seeing dudes like Usain Bolt trying to scale a 10-foot wall and run across a 20-foot balance beam during his 100-meter sprint.

It’s pretty evident that firefighters have some pretty serious skills.  Skills that I would imagine most Olympians don’t have.  This videos is pretty impressive.

This picture was taken earlier in the season when the Red Sox were sucking severely.   We all know this team is going to be more than fine and will most likely make a run at the World Series but Jesus this picture is freaky.

Water towers can be surrounded by ornate coverings including fancy brickwork, a large ivy-covered trellis or they can be simply painted. Some city water towers have the name of the city painted in large letters on the roof, as a navigational aid to aviators and motorists. Sometimes the decoration can be humorous, as Granger, Iowa has two water towers, labeled HOT and COLD.

The House in the Clouds in Thorpeness, located in the English county of Suffolk, was built to resemble a house in order to disguise the eyesore, whilst the lower floors were used for accommodation. When the town was connected to the mains water supply, the water tower was dismantled and converted to additional living space.
