I wasn’t aware that ice diving was a common thing out there but apparently it’s pretty popular.   For all you divers out there this type of diving isn’t for the weak.  It’s a special kind of diving that requires a much more advanced set of skills.

One has to learn about how ice is formed, recognizing conditions that are unsafe (wouldn’t diving in ice always be unsafe?),  and equipment requirements.   Aside from all that comes with ice diving, and rather than bore you, the pictures can be pretty awesome.

In seemingly an effort to prove there’s an app for absolutely anything, Apple approved the “Exodus International” app that claims to help gay people turn from their lifestyle`23. Huh?

The app, called Exodus International, is targeted at ‘homosexual strugglers’ and teaches them that gay people have a choice about their sexuality.

Its Christian makers claim the app gives them a chance of ‘freedom from homosexuality through the power of Jesus’.

The free programme, which is available in Britain, was given four out of five stars by Apple, which means it is deemed to have  ‘no objectionable content’.

But the computing giant is now under pressure after gay rights campaigners started a petition to have it withdrawn.

I hear if you allow the app to know your location, if you’re in a gay bar it won’t stop making your phone ring on maximum until you leave.

There’s something very freaky and awesome about Megan Kawaguchi.   Normally I’m not all that into tattooed and pierced girls but Megan’s got that something special.  I think it’s the fact that her face screams off sweetie pie and her body screams Penthouse.

It’s always great when a girl next door type looks a little naughty.  I think Megan has that perfect blend.  And at 5’2 and 110 lbs you know you could have some serious fun with that frame.

I think I’ve seen a few contenders for the whitest commercial ever made over the years, but this one probably takes the cake. It’s a very white family dancing in a very white way while making s’mores on the campfire…on their deck. If that’s not the whitest thing I’ve ever seen, I don’t know what is.

At least our stereotypes mainly just involved bad dancing and racism.

This picture demonstrates just how far race relation have come in this country. Yes, there are still racists, and there always will be, but they aren’t as scary as they used to be, which is pretty good progress I have to say.

Props to these young dudes for making the idiot behind them looking somehow even more foolish than they do, not an easy feat.

Things aren’t as great for the University of Florida in the area of sport as they used to be.   No more national championships in Football and Basketball.   It’s just not the same without Urban Meyer.   And it’s certainly not the same without Joakim Noah and his ugly hair.   I’m sure Florida will be back into it.

However, if there’s one thing you can be sure of it would have to be their cheering section.  Whether it’s the Dazzlers or the Cheerleaders, cutie pies from all over campus are one hell of a supporting squad.

Did you know that the Dark Ages weren’t really so dark at all?   Many movies that depict life in medieval times show a very segregated upper and lower class.   It appears that the poor people had horrible lives and that the rich took advantage of the poor.  While this may seem like the case it was rarely so.

In fact, living in the Dark Ages was actually a pretty decent time to be around.   I’ll argue that some of their conventional practices might actually help our struggling society today.

Of course, there’s plenty to argue on the contrary but in general, if life were like this today, things might be better…..
