The Portfolio

It’s definitely been a pretty harsh winter and thank God that spring is on the way (well at least in about 10 days it is).   The weather is finally perking up, at least by my standards.  I think anytime the temperature is above 40 degrees you’re in good shape.

But anyway, it doesn’t mean we won’t look back on this winter as one of the worst ones on record.   Hell don’t ask me.  Just ask all the little pissed off kids who had to wear snow jackets.

Alright, we feature a lot of dumb criminal stories on the site here, but this has to be one of my absolute favorite. I know what you’re thinking, how do you leave a bag of pee behind at a robbery? Well friends, listen, for I have a tale for you.

The 27-year-old Swede and his accomplice survived a weekend on water and cornflakes after managing to sneak into the bank’s vault in May of last year, the Aftonbladet newspaper reports.

Outside the bank, two other men stood watch armed with mobile phones which they used to warn the Swede and his partner about the bank guards’ rounds. While in the vault, the robbers emptied 140 safety deposit boxes of cash and jewelry.

During their extended stay in the bank’s basement, the pair made use of plastic bags to heed nature’s call. When the Swede and his fellow thief attempted to leave the bank on Monday morning, they were discovered by a security guard, who gave chase.

In an attempt to distract the guard, the 27-year-old Swede threw the urine-filled bag at him.  And while he and his accomplice managed to escape following the counter-attack, the decision to leave the bag full of pee behind turned out to be the Swede’s downfall. Investigators were eventually able to use DNA found in the discarded urine to identify him.

Wow, that is the most amazing way to catch a criminal I’ve ever heard. Using a bag of his own pee filled with DNA to ID him. I really can’t wait to see how they adapt this into a Law and Order episode.

I’m not sure if you guys know Jaime Edmonson by name but you most certainly would recognize her as the girl who loves to pose in sexy sports teams jerseys.  Yes, she’s the one that Playboy used for a photo shoot taken in the jersey of every NFL team.

That gets my vote for Jaime deserving a spot on this site.  You know what else gets my vote?  The fact that Jaime is ridiculously attractive.  That and she’s kind of a red head.

If Charlie Sheen wasn’t famous, I think he might be this guy. Now I don’t remember if I’ve featured this video on the site before, but even if I have, it’s worth watching again because it’s that damn awesome.

This guy has a theory about how your business card says a lot about you. Like his is loud and annoying, which means he is…err wait, I guess that’s not the point he was trying to make.

“It doesn’t FIT in a rolodex because it doesn’t BELONG in a rolodex.” Because yes, I would never want to contact this guy either.

There are so many random hot girls floating around the internet that us bloggers have a very hard time classifying them.   What I mean is, these days people will take random pictures of girls and attach some random title that may in fact having nothing to do with the pictures themselves.

So for the pictures here I have titled the article “International Hotties of Facebook.”   However, I’m not really positive that the pictures come from Facebook, nor do I know if the females are international.

What I do know is that they’re attractive and I’d like them to be known as the international hotties of Facebook….

It’s an extremely difficult question these days.  Think about how much your life revolves around these two mediums.  You’ve got conversations with your friends that involve your favorite shows.  You probably send out at least 20-30 emails a day.   You browse the internet from that cubicle in your office for at least 6 hrs out of your 8 hr day do you not?

Can you even imagine a life without television or the internet?  I for one cannot because my entire living is based off of the internet functioning.  However, this article is purely based on the fact that one’s live can have more fulfillment without these two media outlets.
