Even though we’re in a state of economical turmoil it’s nice to know there’s some bright things out there.  Particularly bright in terms of the way certain places look.  Sure we have our slums but the world offers some pretty sweet man made scenery if you ask me.

In fact some cities are so colorful that they should be renamed rainbow cities. Many of these places are so bright and festive; while others are just a collection of colored houses that look like ordinary boxes.

Well I’m sure as hell glad I don’t live across the pond right now. British ISPs are gathering together to come up with a new anti-porn measure that would have all adult sites blocked by default. You know, for the children.

In a move that smacks of the draconian Internet laws in place in countries like Australia, the UK government has plans to ask ISPs to block all pornography from home Internet connections by default, it’s reported today. Under the plan, customers would have to ask the ISP for access to pornography.

The Sunday Times reports that the UK’s largest ISPs will be called to a meeting next month to discuss the idea, which is being presented as a way of stopping children from accessing porn.

So you would literally have to call your ISP and ask that you be allowed to watch porn on your own internet connection? Annnd that’s what torrenting is for I suppose.

Alright USA, just pretend you never heard this, and go back to fighting about net neutrality.

I know he’s a kid, and most kids deserve piggyback rides, but I think you lose that privilege once you weigh more than the person carry you.

Perhaps he’s a sumo in training, I don’t know, but I think they’d be better off carting him around in a wheelbarrow that on this poor woman’s back. If she keeps this up she’ll be that hunched over permanently.

Or they could just continue pumping this kid up with air, and ride him around like a hot air balloon. That would work too.

Usually I feature Asian commercials here because they’re pretty WTF and usually feature at least one dance number. Today, however, I’m showcasing this one, because it’s legitimately funny, and worth sharing.

It’s a 7up commercial, a brand I’ve almost forgotten exists, where a guy travels back in time to disastrous results, but despite warnings, keeps making the same mistake over and over. It’s better than most time travel movies I’ve seen these days, and props to 7up China for having such a good sense of humor. Check it out above.

I’m starting to run low on material here.  We’re getting very close to the point where I’m just going to have to start recycling sexy girl categories.  I mean even I almost feel kind of pathetic here.

I purchased a couple of cars earlier in the year and thankfully I didn’t have to deal with a lot of crap from some annoying salesman.  The guy was very honest and he wasn’t trying to get me to do anything I didn’t want to do.  Granted we’re in a crappy economy but still, the last thing I need is a lot of glitz and stupidity when buying a car.

Apparently many spots in America do though.  It appears that having an absolutely retarded car commercial is something people are going for these days?

Well maybe they’re not but at least these videos are funny because they’re that bad…..
