Five People Who Would Make Great Family Feud Hosts

Published by at 7:20 am under Entertainment

This happened a few weeks ago and frankly I can’t believe the Family Feud still exists but Steve Harvey is hosting it?  I mean I get his humor.  He’s kind of a funny G-Rated animated kind of a guy and if the show is moving in that direction then I suppose Harvey is the right man for the job.

However, if you want to get back to the old days when the show was awesome then I think you need a host that has both the comedic potential and also the perverted ways that the previous hosts had.  It just brings an element that is more “today.”  We don’t need any ticky tack bullshit in today’s shows.

Here are five people who would have been much better for the job….

Ron Jeremy

This is a given but come on.  We’ve seen Ron Jeremy and his lame comedy in movies (Detroit Rock City in particular) and I think the guy would have some funny lines the whole way through.  He wouldn’t even have to curse.  We’d all just know what the dude was talking about.  And every time he’d kiss a teen girl on the hand it would be hilarious.

Jackie Mason

I only think of this because of watching him in Caddyshack 2.  Other than that I really have no basis for this selection. Still though, how awesome would that be?  He’s got that funny Jewish accent and quirky way about him.

David Chappelle

I think any show David Chappelle would participate in would be infinitely funnier no matter what.  But just picture him making fun of the contestants relentlessly.  It would be amazing.

Mel Gibson

Well just because I’m pretty sure each show he’d say something that no one would ever forget.

Rosie O’Donnell

Let’s not forget that Rosie was a comedian and she’s a damned good entertainer.  And now that the whole Lesbian thing is out there watching her flirt with the female contestants would be quite a hoot.
