There is so much I don’t understand about this commercial, which I believe is actually American, though I’ve never seen it.

Why is David Hasselhoff seducing a fan? Why does this end up being a commercial for Norton AntiVirus? There’s some sort of analogy in here that I 100% do not understand, and no amount of the Hoff will ever make me buy Norton which is more like malware than any actual malware I’ve ever had with its constant nagging for updates and signups and false threats it invents to make itself seem useful.
