If there’s one creepy “mascot” out there it’s gotta be Ronald McDonald.  I mean I get it and all.  He’s a fun yellow clown who is always smiling.  Hell he’s the face of McDonald’s.  But doesn’t he kind of creep you out a bit?  I don’t know, maybe it’s because I’m scared of clowns but there’s just something that rubs me the wrong way about Ron Ron.

However, this doesn’t mean I don’t think he’s awesome.  Obviously there are plenty of others out there that think he’s awesome too.  But what I’d like to focus on today are the ladies and Mr. McDonald.

Yes friends, there’s actually a World Custard Pie Throwing Championship held every year.  Naturally it takes place in the country that is known for silly, dumb, physical humor…England.

Teams at the event, in the village of Coxheath near Maidstone, were given maximum points for throwing a pie squarely into their opponents’ faces. Judges also awarded up to five points for the most original and amusing throwing techniques

You gotta appreciate an event like that.  With all of the economic peril facing nations across the globe it’s nice to know that they’re still throwing pastries and gooey sweets at each others faces in competition.

Why do I get the feeling the “all natural” part of Berenger Rose might be a fallacy?  Oh I don’t know because if I really found out that those were real I might actually have a heart attack.  Seriously media, you can’t go throwing around this all natural tag at us.  At some point in this woman’s career she’s had to have had work done.

I refuse to believe anything else.   Although every single place I look I see this all natural thing.  I’m very confused right now.  More frustrated than anything else.  I’m having one of those “how come I never see these girls walking down the street?” moments.

No matter which way you cut it car racing is car racing.  Whether it’s Formula one or NASCAR doesn’t really make a difference to me.   The bottom line is that it’s cars going around in laps and it’s really not that entertaining.  I can appreciate the skill involved.  Don’t get me wrong.  I think these “athletes” have a lot of talent but it’s still boring as hell to watch.

However, like in any sport there are always things that can peak interest.  What’s peaking mine?  Well, it appears that Formula 1 has a great grip on hiring attractive pit girls…which is nice.

I used to be in sales for around six years before I took this gig.  I was a headhunter working in the finance arena.  And if there’s one thing you deal with when talking to investment bankers, salesman, and traders it’s a whole hell of a lot of bullshit.  The egos on some of these guys is for lack of a better word…”uncoached.”

It’s just amazing to me that some people actually talk this way and believe in some of their own lingo.  Don’t get me wrong there are some really nice and smart people in the business world but unfortunately there are way more dicks than cool people.

One thing I always hated, and still do about the corporate world is the catch phrases people used.  Phrases that really just veered away from any semblance of an actual point.   Phrases I consider to be just fluff.
