In this day and age of advertising I think we take for granted how scantily clad women get for cars.  I mean look at companies like Hot Import Nights.   It’s practically a given that women are going to be wearing next to nothing while modeling for our favorite cars and motorcycles.  But it’s not like they just appeared out of nowhere.

Yes, even in the 60s and 70s we saw women posing on top of cars and straddling motorcycles.  We just don’t realize these things because many of us weren’t born yet.  But pay our respects because before women were on stripping poles while modeling for a car, they were out in fields with long boots and too much clothing trying to look sexy on their modeled cars.

Let’s get something straight.  I flat out don’t really like people.  In general unless I know you already, then I pretty much assume 99% of the population sucks thus a thing like texting is somewhat appealing to.  You get to avoid being in person and it’s way easier to avoid people you don’t want to talk to.

However, since I don’t really talk to too many people I don’t like I find texting to be quite annoying at times.  Don’t get me wrong.  I think overall it’s a solid tool and I will depend on it for years to come.  I just think it’s unfortunate the longer we go in life, the less personal we become.

Have you ever watched one of those National Geographic programs on TV and thought to yourself, “what the hell am I doing for a living?”  I mean think about it.  There you are watching these people in the jungle photographing cheetahs and lions and stuff and your lazy ass in on the couch with a potato chip on your stomach.

Then you realize that your next day will be comprised of sitting at a desk the entire day and you’ll probably be doing that for 30 years.  Hey,  I’m just saying.  The point is that some people really have amazing jobs and I’m guessing that climbing down into insanely cool caves has got to be one of them.

I’ve heard some badass tales of bravery in my time, but this one is certainly at the top of the list. When I got to the end of the story, I’m surprised the man in question wasn’t Bear Grylls or Jack Bauer.

Michael Bedford was knocked off his board by the shark, believed to have been a great white, which then came back for a second charge, witnesses said.

But he punched the animal and then caught a passing wave to the shore, where friends used the board’s rope as a tourniquet for bite wounds on his leg.

“He gave it a good whack he reckons, a good punch and that doesn’t surprise me knowing Mick,” witness Lee Cummuskey told ABC.

“It is your worst nightmare and Mick’s been through it and survived so he’s just really lucky.”

“Oh how’d you get that scar?”

“Uh, I was surfing and a shark bit me, but I punched him in the face and rode a wave.”

“I want to rip all of your clothes off.”

Sometimes it ain’t just me that discovers some of these beauties.  I’d like to give a special shout out to my man DJ Mick for pointing out these undiscovered gem.  Her name is Daniela Pinedo and she kind of reminds me of a poor man’s Alessandra Ambrosio.  Not that being a poor man’s Ambrosio is a bad thing.

Unfortunately I don’t know much about Daniela but I do know she’s extremely petite and has the kind of face that you’d chop both fingers off for.  So she’s got that going for her…which is nice.

This kid had two of the most exciting moments of his life this night. What’s the other one besides posing with two how uh, snowflakes? Why, getting his jersey autographed by two of his favorite Blackhawks players of course.

Judging from the convenient placement of that paper, I’m guessing he’s much more excited about this current situation, and is a little embarrassed about it.

I’d be willing to bet anything this is that kid’s new Facebook picture.

There’s some sort of YouTube craze going on where rednecks are trying to invent a form of redneck kung-fu, for some reason or another. If I had to guess, it’s probably to fight off all the illegal Mexicans.

Well, I couldn’t find a better example than this dude, who sounds like Kevin from The Office and has fashioned nunchucks out of beer cans. Awesome. He also has legit skills as well, as he breaks a board in half with his “iron fist” technique. Shouldn’t that be called a “rust fist”?
