Talk about isolated, good Lord.  Imagine you were hiking in some mountain and you stumbled across this thing.  Crazy isn’t it?  I wish I could tell you it was some privately owned random project with no story but it’s actually something created by a joint effort in Switzerland.

The new Monte Rosa hut, a joint project of ETH Zurich, SAC, Hochschule Luzern – Technik & Architektur and EMPA is a new development with excellent architecture and role model in energy and resource efficiency.

Yeah it’s also creepy as hell on the inside.  There’s no life to this thing.  Still though, pretty badass that it sits on a rock in a mountain range….
