In the word of underground animal fighting I’ve really only heard of cockfighting and dog fighting as the preeminent attractions.  Little did I know there was a place called Safari World in Bangkok that features another type of animal fighting:  kickboxing orangutans.

OK but at least this sport isn’t all about animal cruelty.  It’s just about humor.  They dress up these poor animals in kickboxing gear, even have orangutan ring girls, and the trainers yell at the animals to try and get them to fight.

I mean it’s sort of cute but definitely a little douchey.  Still though, the pictures are a riot….
