You Think Our Rush Hour is Bad? Check out Crowded Train Stations in China
Other than having a boss and feeling like a slave, one of my biggest pet peeves about working in the real world was the commute. I mean right now my commute is maybe 20 feet into my living room and sitting at this here desk. But back around 2-3 years ago and beyond that, it was the crowded Penn Station and subway stations in NYC that made me want to vomit.
Having to lean up on someone, smell them, look at them as they pick their noses just wasn’t my cup of tea. And honestly I didn’t think (and don’t think) it can ever get worse than Penn Station on a holiday where everyone is in a rush to get home.
But that’s because I’ve never visited China. I now feel for every person that has to get on a train and go to work in China. Oh my God I think I’d kill myself if I had to do this every day.
