A Gallery of “Extreme” Sports Photos
The reason I put the word “extreme” in quotation marks isn’t because I wanted to emphasize that these are crazy sports like snowboarding or base jumping. It’s to point out that every sport contains it’s own “extreme” element. Whether that element is the extreme look of pain, and extremely difficult position or an extreme amount of effort, sports are for lack of a better word, “extreme” at times.
From two boxers looking like they’re about to kiss, to a jockey getting trampled by a horse during a race, I’ve managed to dig up 15 pictures of athletes showing what it’s like to go to the extreme.
