The Transformation of Larry Wachowski into Lana
As most of you know, one of the Wachowski brothers (the directors of The Matrix series of movies), decided to be a woman. Now his name is Lana. I guess to each their own. It’s evident in a number of picture in the past that when Lana was a man he was not all that happy.
I hope to God she’s happy now. She’s not exactly attractive but I suppose if the Wachowski’s can keep spitting out cool movies none of this will really matter. There’s still no technical truth to this transformation but come on, he/she is dressing like a woman an awful lot

I got kicked off of comingsoon.net and my IP banned for mentioning this fact. Why? To each their own indeed. It almost seems asthough there is something going on to try and hide this information. Who gives a shit?!? It’s 2010. If he/she makes great movies who gives a shit what he/she decides to do with their appearence. I also recently found out that comingsoon.net is actually owned and opperated by an advertising agency, not a fan site as they used to state. Did someone in this advertising agency want this information hidden from the public? It would appear so. As I stated, it’s interesting, but who gives a shit. BTW Speed Racer was fucking awesome!

She is now a woman and has she used, not he, it, he/she..although I don’t think you meant ANY malice, it honestly is not something trans people like to hear.
I think he’s still technically a man, whether or not you or he wants to hear that.. right? Born a man, die a man. There is no changing that.
@Kenny: Actually, with a combination of surgery, hormone treatments, and therapy, transsexuals ARE transformed. Modern medicine – physical and psychological – is pretty amazing. Sometimes those who don’t “understand” LGBT folks’ thoughts and feelings get uncomfortable or insecure. But guess what… You don’t have to understand. Lana’s thoughts and feelings are hers and hers alone. And in her case, “Born a man, die a woman” applies.

Gender dysphoria is a real thing. Psychological and physical sex can be different.
In this day and age, what one is born with isn’t necessarily what one has to live with.
Gender is not sex. An XY chromosomal male is one of several genotypes that may be designated male, along with XXY and other intersexes. See Kleinfelter’s Syndrome, etc. Primary sexual characteristics ALMOST always lead to a self-designation of sex, but gender is sex role. Sex role is far more complex. Generally, when one is old enough to assume control of their sexual identity, they and only they get the right to do so. Anyone who says she is a woman is to be addressed as ‘she’ and all the other appropriate pronouns and designators. I don’t suppose anyone remembers when electronic composer Walter Carlos became Wendy Carlos. She was the one who did the music for Kubric’s The Shining. She was a genius. Not a genuette or genuess.
Hailing Larry/Lana Wachowski as some hero of the LGBT community is like hailing Clarence Thomas as a hero of the African American community.
Larry has POWER and he was protected by powerful forces in Hollywood, a privilege many public people are not afforded.
This summer his former assistant is releasing a tell-all that will surely shed light on who Lana really is and how she came to be. He’s not a nice person.
