Playgrounds from the 70s Are Actually A Little Creepy

70s Playgrounds

Remember playing in the sandbox as a kid?  OK, I don’t but I do remember playing on lots of cool jungle gyms.  It was always fun to climb ropes or use handle bars and slide down poles.  It was like your own little amusement park.  And who can forget swings and slides?  Man those were the days.

And in today’s world you’ve got some pretty high tech fun parks out there for the kiddies.  But back in your parents’ day?  Not the case.  Not the case at all.

Some of these setups remind me of something that would come out of Willy Wonka’s Factory.

Thanks to Damn Cool Pictures for the photos
