Even Back in the Day There were WTF Pictures

And I take a quote from one of my favorite college movies of all time, PCU
Ok, now it’s true, the majority of students today are so cravenly PC, they wouldn’t know a good time if it was sitting on their face, but there’s one thing that will always unite us and them. They’re young. They may not realize it yet. They’ve got the same raging hormones, the same self-destructive desire to get boldly trashed and wildly out of control. Look out that window! That’s not a protest! That is cry for help!
And why do I use this quote? Because even back in the 20s, 30s, and 40s people had a penchant to be silly. And it wasn’t just the youth of America. We all like doing weird things and posing in weird pictures.

Uhh! I can explain that last one!
It’s a psychological experiment by Watson and Rayner about baby reflexes, such as grappling. The guy in the picture, Dr Watson, was a whacko. He wanted to study human sexual behaviour on himself and his wife. When his wife refused to let scientist watch them in the bedroom, Watson did it with Rayner (also in the picture), which led to his wife divorcing him.
these are great – thanks
