Born Mayra Veronica Aruca Rodriguez on August 20 in Havana Cuba, Mayra’s family moved to the US when she was 5 years old and they settled in one of Miami, Florida’s Cuban communities. Mayra studied ballet for 12 years in all, taking a break when adolescence took over and she grew “voluptuous” she laughs now.

Yeah I’m kind of laughing at how voluptuous she’s grown too.  So much so that I nearly vomited.  Well I’m glad that Mayra has put her voluptuous frame to good use because we are all blessed by her presence.

finally found it!  You guys remember this?  This is definitely one of the more memorable episodes in the history of MTV.  These were Myspace Toolboxes before there were Myspace Toolboxes.

These were the true guidos.  The bronze. The sin bin!

Remember the virgin?  Hahaha.  “Where you guys from?”  “Where you guys from?”

Like any other hot girl fetish, I’m convinced that these “fetishes” are somewhat of an illusion.  Think about it.  Do we really like hot girls with cowboy hats?  Clearly it’s not at the top of my list.  But do I like hot girls with Cowboy Hats?  Obviously.  Pigtails is in the same realm.  Clearly girls look better without pigtails, but if they’re hot, fine.

Although I would add that the element of immaturity and childishness thrown into the mix kind of helps in the fantasy department.  Always helps when you think that being bad feels pretty good.

Still though, it’s hot chicks in pigtails.  Not ugly ones.   It’s those people who enjoy peeing and pooping that really worry me.

I believe that an album cover should kind of be like a business card.  You want something that is going to represent your work in the best way possible.   You are trying to convey a message about yourself.  One that can identify everything you’ve done.  In the case of bands, an album cover should represent a certain feeling that is trying to be conveyed in the music.

So for the life of me why a band would want to convey constipation, devil worshipping, or even getting head with ventriloquist dummies by your side is a complete mystery to me.

Nevertheless, these 15 album covers have succeeded admirably in being absolutely atrocious.

There are plenty of things we do that we regret.  Personally I know I’ve done some stupid things in my day.  However, they’re usually more along the lines of “I shouldn’t have eaten that,” or “I definitely should have wrapped my tool.”
