Artist Jan Fabre spent four months (with his 29 assistants) gluing 1.6 Million Buprestidae beetles on the ceiling of the Royal Palace in Brussels to create the Heaven of Delight.

Jan Fabre says he began with smaller projects and surfaces to see what him and his team could come up with and the result is this very unusual ceiling decor

Of these 29 assistants, I would have to say that all 29 are virgins wouldn’t you?  Still though, it’s one hell of a ceiling.  Gross, but amazing.

video came out about a month ago when there was some insane annual summer fires happening in California.  In case any of you missed it, it’s one of the better time lapse videos I’ve seen in some time.

Pretty disturbing to image that there’s fire under that smoke destroying everything near it.

Gabriela Barros was Miss Chile at the 2004 Miss Universe pageant, and she appeared in the August 2006 issue of the international edition of Maxim magazine.

Interesting.  While there have been plenty of Latina girls on here, I’m not sure we’ve had a Miss Chile in our midst.  Well congratulations Gabriela!  Isn’t that just wonderful?  Such a fantastic day for the country of Chile.

Let this sink in for a moment:

There once was a time when this “person” was a baby.  His mother held him tight with visions of this child growing up to be a wonderful man.  To bear this woman grand children that she could love and nourish so that they too could grow up and be successful.

Imagine what this mother must be feeling now.

A Ross Township woman who keeps exotic animals as pets was killed this evening after she was attacked by her pet black bear, an official with the Pennsylvania Game Commission said.

Tim Conway, the game commission’s information educational supervisor for the northeast region, said Walz went inside the bear’s 15-by-15-foot steel and concrete cage to clean it and feed the bear.

Conway said he wanted to stress this was not a free-roaming bear and the public was not in any danger. Also kept at the house are a Bengal tiger and an African lion. Both of those animals were licensed by the state to be kept as pets, Conway said.

Two things.  First of all I’m not denying that this is a tragic death and my heart goes out to Kelly Ann Walz’s family.  But I mean come on guys.  Is this a surprise?  When you have a 350lb “pet” with razor claws and teeth that can cut through glass, you might not want to have too much alone time with it.   It’s like when Sigfried and Roy were attacked.  Was that really a surprise?  I mean you’re slapping a tiger in the face for Christ’s sake.  I would say sooner or later they’ll get kind of pissed.

Number two:  What the article fails to mention is that it’s more than likely this bear will get slaughtered.  And there’s absolutely no reason that it should.

I’ve checked this out on at least 20 sites.  Every single one of them claiming that this contest is real.  In Las Vegas apparently there’s a bikini contest for women that are 50-years-old and over.  The women have to have proof of age in order to enter the contest.  So if in fact these women are really over 50 then I really only have one thing to say.

Any woman that complains of being fat, having menopause, or does any type of whining about anything pertaining to their body that doesn’t have some sort of weight gaining disease or metabolism deficiency has absolutely zero excuse from this point forward to not at least try to look good.

Wow.  These women are a true blessing.

*And yes, I just found out this is total crap.  NONE of these women are 50.  Still though, they are hot.

Nothing’s better than reality.  And when I say reality I refer to things actually being real.  Reality shows might be real but they’re not real real.  There are stages, lighting, sets, etc etc.  About the only real thing left on TV is when something completely unexpected happens on live television.

Whether it’s an outburst or someone walking right up to the camera in the middle of an interview, these are the moments that are truly real, and can be truly funny.

I’ve chosen some real moments of reporters either being ambushed in some way, or them creating a bit of confusion for others.
