15 Awesome Photoshop Fails That Really Happened
I’m sure you guys read about this one. The middle guy is really black
If you really think about it, Photoshop is probably the single most utilized invention in the magazine industry today. I once saw a television program that analyzed some of the more popular gossip rags like US Weekly and InTouch. People from those magazines admitted that over 90%, yes over 90% of the pictures we see in those magazines are photoshopped.
Now I don’t have proof but something tells me that perhaps 50% of images in other magazines might be altered in some way as well. It happens all the time in advertising. Is Photoshop a good thing? I guess for creativity sure, but you must admit it does alter our perception of reality a bit, especially since it’s so prevalent.
However, what about when the photoshop goes wrong? I can’t believe these 15 pictures actually made it to print

Actually - All magazines and most publications use Photoshop in some capacity to simply color correct, adjust lighting or touch up photographs before publication. very rarely does a photo from a camera come out absolutely perfect and ready for printing in a magazine without a little work.
You should differentiate when you say they’re “Photoshopped” yes, they all are. It’s just a matter of how extreme the photoshopping is.
