As far as uniform, the look is called uniform for a reason. Unless the officer goes undercover or stings he should follow the dress code. No matter what color he is. It was part of black culture for god knows how long. Just thought I'd say that. But anyway I'm from Philly and when I read this article it pissed me off. Especilly since I've seen. Number of black cops with braids. And this seemed to me like totall discrimination. Although it would be weird to see a white cop with braids. I'm black by the way.
