“Red Sox’s 8-0 mark vs. Yanks irrelevant now”

Make that 8-1 after last night but still.

I’d just like to thank Sean McAdam for coming up with that brilliant title to what is essentially an irrelevant article.  Here’s a little of what Sean had to say:

The last time the Red Sox and Yankees met, life was different for both teams.

Mark Teixeira was just starting to get hot. Phil Hughes hadn’t earned the role of primary set-up man in the New York bullpen. John Smoltz was in the middle of his rehab starts. Victor Martinez was still a member of the Cleveland Indians.

Nine weeks can be a lifetime in baseball. Since June 9-11, the date of the last series, the Sox have cooled and the Yankees have been the hottest team in the league. A lot has changed, making the Red Sox’ 8-0 record in head-to-head meetings about as meaningful this season as Bill Lee vs. Graig Nettles

Yeah?  And?  So what?  What people are going to remember is two things:  Playoffs and World Series.  Cut it out with this crap will you? I’m all for rivalries.  I’m all for hyping up certain pitching matchups, etc etc.

However, as a Yankees fan.  Let’s face it.  These guys haven’t won the big one in a LONG time.  And that’s the cold, hard, truth.  With Joba pitching the way he is and this lineup, I do think their chances are better than ever.

But can we stop with this crap?  Please?  Until the Yankees win a world series again, Boston is the dominant team.  Sorry fellow fans.

UMass associate head coach Acacia Walker helped Team USA to its first Gold Medal since 2001 at the FIL Lacrosse World Cup with an 8-7 win over Australia in the Championship Match. Also representing UMass at the World Cup was alum Jackie Rosenzweig and rising senior Merritt Cosgrove who helped first-year Team Ireland to a fifth place finish in the final standings.

Well isn’t that fantastic?  While lone player Merritt was busy helping team USA, I can only assume the rest of the girls were just doing their regular college thing.  Do I really have to describe it at this point?

Sure, I like making descriptions especially when they involve blatant cleavage shots and jumping up and down on beds.  But that’s just par for the course for the ladies of UMass.

In a way, using a time-lapse is kind of like cheating nature.   Instead of having to wait days, months, or even years, you can see the effect of just about anything in a matter of minutes.  It’s really quite amazing.  Especially when you think of the possibilities and events in which you’d want to time-lapse.

Imagine taking the same picture every single day for 15 years and then being able to see it in a “film” that takes place over the course of only 3 minutes.  Pretty awesome.

Just the other day I was looking through my high school yearbook and man did it bring back memories.  Not only did the faces look so different but the clothes, cars, style, you name it.  It was everything.  I truly miss those days.

I’m now trying to rack my brain as to why I never really liked Andy Roddick.  I guess it was strictly based on him never really contending for much.  Other than that U.S. Open victory, Roddick doesn’t have much.

But if he keeps up with interviews like this then I’m gonna have no choice but to root for him every single time I see him.

Unfortunately there’s no real place I can link you to for the beautiful former Penthouse Pet Marketa Brymova.  As you can imagine all of those pages not only contain nudity, but they involve so much more.  And for only $9.95 you can have it all!

Just kidding.  But seriously, once in a while I’ll post a pornstar on here for good reason.  I don’t think most pornstars are all that great looking.  But when you see one that makes you realize she doesn’t need porn to be a model, it’s quite impressive.
