10 Pictures to Suggest that Bert and Ernie Are Gay
I always have to start with this preface: by no means am I suggesting it’s wrong to be gay. This is the same thing as if a gay person were to write an article about other gay people suggesting they were straight. And we all know that in the media, many forms of cartoons have been argued to be fronts for gay writers to express homosexuality.
Look folks, if you don’t see homosexual undertones in Sponge Bob Squarepants, then you’re in the dark. And if you want to go back further, watch about 20 seconds of any He-Man episode and you’ll understand.
But Sesame Street? Is it possible that Bert and Ernie are gay?

When I was little I had a Sesame Street coloring book that had a picture of Bert and Ernie in the shower together. My mom stole that picture, colored it, captioned it “you dropped the soap, Ernie”, and put it up on the bathroom door. As a child, I had no idea what that meant, but looking back on it, I lol. Very clever, mom. Im still surprized at how that picture got into the coloring book in the first place, though.
