I feel like Pauly Shore was one of those guys you either really loved or really hated.  There was no such thing as an in between with this guy.  Sure he was annoying.  And sure the guy was completely ridiculous.  But you can’t deny that the way he spoke and laughed made you smile.  It was contagious and it was ludicrous.  But it was still funny.

And while his movies were outrageously dumb, I still found him at the Biodome funny, meshing with farmers to be amazing, and messing with people in the army to be almost appropriate.

This literally happened to me over the weekend.  I’m driving on the highway and all of a sudden traffic has stopped.  I’m talking a dead dead stop.   The kind where a little old lady on a walker will pass you.  So what happens when the traffic finally clears?  Of course it’s rubbernecking for a paltry car accident.

It was a tiny dent, no injuries, no nothing.  And it’s not like I was hoping for death or anything but come on.  It’s like “This is what I’m stopped for?  You’ve gotta be kidding me.”

I always knew there was something special between these guys.

This post is actually quite sentimental for me.  Bianca Smith was one of the first hotties I ever posted in my entire life.  In a former blog that I used to run, Bianca was featured as kind of an artsy hot chick type after a I came across her Myspace Profile some time ago.

I remember saying how she seemed very Bohemian but that I’d still hit it.  Something or other like that.  A commenter was enraged by this.  Well, since that time (nearly two years) Bianca has gone on to do more and more sexy photo shoots and less artsy annoying hairy underarm stuff.

I’m glad she went in the right direction.  Playboy’s next sweetie.

I don’t think this guy has a name.  It looks like his name is “Don’t Judge a Book by its Myspace Page.”  Really?  Honestly Richard (yes that’s his name).  How in the world else can I judge someone?

When you have “Puppet Jutsu Master Kankuro” as your background and 300 pictures all of you looking like a jackass, how else am I to interpret you as a person.   Are you supposed to be in MENSA or something?

Come on dude.  You’re an anime guy and a weirdo.  Period.

Having watched what may have been the most historic 5th set of any Grand Slam, the one thing that I took out of that match (other than the solidification of Roger Federer being the best player ever), was that Andy Roddick showed that he could compete with the best, and possibly be the best at some point.

By no means am I saying he’s better than Federer or Nadal.  I’m just saying it was nice to see Roddick finally play at that level.  I for one, didn’t like Roddick before yesterday.  It just sort of annoyed me that the guy always seemed to choke against the world’s best.  It almost seemed like the dude didn’t care.  But perhaps that wasn’t the case at all.

Perhaps these other guys were just better than him.  But it was tough to agree with that considering his serve and power of his forehand.  The guy just needed to pull it together for an entire match.  And up until yesterday it always seemed that Roddick fell short.  But not only fell short, got his ass kicked.

Well that certainly wasn’t the case yesterday.  In fact, I really think that Roddick should have won.  And personally I thought after that 6-2 tie break choke, that Roddick would get reamed.  It was nice watching a different result.  One where both players didn’t let up.  It was that damned sun.  Who would have thought the sun would have screwed with a player at Wimbledon?

While all the praise might go to Federer for this historic win, I hope it means some great things out of Roddick in Flushing this year.

In case you didn’t know, this year’s women’s softball college champs were the Washington Huskies.  And lucky for me, us, the world, even winning a championship doesn’t seem to stop the women of softball from updating their social networking profiles.

I’m sure there was plenty of celebrating going on for the Husky women (that didn’t sound right).  But one thing I noticed is that in addition to the girls being fabulously skilled softball players, there are definitely some cuties on this squad.  That and they can throw down with the best of them.
