Sports Sunday: Full Out “Blame it on the Rain” by Jon Papelbon and Manny Delcarmen

Published by Natty at 8:01 am under Sports Sunday

I will be the first to tell you that I’m a Yankees fan and always will be.  But do I ever see this kind of stuff in New York?  The answer is a definitive “no.”

I understand that the Yankees are supposed to be this “classy” organization.  But come on.  You can always “Blame it on the Rain.”  This makes me really like Papelboner and Delcarmen.

By the way, can we just exile Michael Kay to some deserted island please?  Get the Mets guys to come over to YES.

As a lifelong Yankees fan I gotta agree. Sometimes I feel like the only thing about the redsox I respect is that they aren’t so anal about everything.

I miss the Paul O’Neil Brosious yankees. They may have been boring but it had a team atmosphere and they won.

Buying all these players is getting annoying
