A Very Solid Tribute Video to George Costanza
I only have one question. Bottom line is that I know, you know, we all know how awesome the show Seinfeld was. And I’ve gone through how much I love the characters, etc etc.
However, there’s always been one thing that always gnawed at me. How in the world are the Costanza’s not Jewish? I mean could George’s character been any MORE Jewish?
Seems weird to me.

Agree wholeheartedly. The only thing Italian about George (or his parents, for that matter) was his last name. Otherwise, very stereotypically Jewish. Regardless, one of the best TV characters ever.
where do we see he’s not jewish? is it mentioned? i always thought he was on the show.
Festivus? Carlo Costanza? I highly doubt the Costanza’s are Jewish.
George is half Jewish, on his mother’s side. But you know, gentiles can be nebbishy and neurotic too. I know, I’m one of them.
