I was at the Yankees game on Tuesday when they defeated the A’s.  And boy is it never too early for a Red Sox rivalry.  In the bleacher section was a man wearing a Red Sox jersey.  I couldn’t quite make out the player name but it didn’t matter.  The yelling was incredible and nearly the entire stadium chanted a “Red Sox Suck!” for about 5 minutes.

Hey I’m a Yankees fan but I’ll be the first to say we really don’t have a right to yell these chants at this point do we?  Our Yankees haven’t won a world series since 2000 and frankly I don’t even know if the Red Sox care anymore.  It’s a little lame at this point.

But I have a feeling once Gay Rod comes back for us, this rivalry might be as strong as ever come playoff time.   In any event, I’m looking forward to watching the games and even more so for when the Red Sox come to town and 75 home runs are hit in the series.

Man is Mark Teixeira gonna get a ton of boos at Fenway.

I’m a sucker for a good camera pose by a very attractive girl.  The question is are these poses deliberate?  The answer is a very clear cut “it doesn’t matter.”  Because whether a girl is trying to seduce you with her photo or is simply having fun makes no difference.

The point is that a pose is in fact made, and that pose will in fact elicit a response.  Generally my response is to salivate and be annoyed that the girl in the picture isn’t in the room with me at that very moment.

Nevertheless I, you, all of us will keep looking at these pictures until the day we die.

A good fight scene is not something that is easy to do.  You have to get the dubbing to be perfect.  You need athletic actors.  You need excellent choreography and you need a solid director.

So it’s one thing when you have all these ingredients.  It’s another when you think you have all these things and yet absolutely none of them are working out well.

What do you get?  You get scenes that are supposed to be amazing but wind up being incredibly unintentionally funny.

I gotta say this video is pretty damned weak.  The funny thing is that if you took this exact same contest and slotted into the non Michael Jordan, Dominique years up until Vince Carter brought it back, there’d be some 50 score dunks in there.

But as it stands it was a lanky white guy and dudes doing every single dunk that’s been done before.   I’m amazed that the dunk contest is pretty much back in the NBA.

One just has to wonder.  How much longer can the newness of these dunks last?  I’m still waiting on someone to do a dunk, lift themselves up on the rim and do a back flip dismount.  It’s gotta happen.

Brandi Pierce is one of the few designers who not only models her designs but looks damned good doing so.  Usually as a rule, designers don’t model their clothes.  Hmm, could it be that most if not all are not good looking enough to do so?

Well Brandi, the little entrepreneur that she is kills two birds with one stone with ShimmerShow Swimwear.  Great name by the way.  I’m shimmering right now.
