Serena Williams retained the No. 1 world ranking by being the best player in her family Thursday night. Williams defeated older sister Venus 6-4, 3-6, 6-3 in the semifinals of the Sony Ericsson Open in Key Biscayne, Fla.

It’s still somewhat interesting when the sisters meet in the finals of a major.  But at the Sony Ericsson Open in Florida?  There’s gotta be better sports news out there.

For some reason you never, ever seem to see these things walking down the street, but I love when females wear really “honest” T-shirts.  It’s one thing if a chick is kind of unattractive and she tries getting away with a cutesie T-shirt that would make many of us vomit.  However, when you once in a while catch a huge chested girl wearing something like a “Got Boobs?” shirt it’s a real treat.

I see no reason why people can’t wear stuff like this more.  Our society needs to embrace certain ideologies and I think people need to come out and say who they are more often.

There’s no question that these 20 shirts are a bit forward.

Not since Michael Jordan has the NBA seen a competitor as fierce as Kobe Bryant.  And something tells me it’s not just on the court that Kobe wants to win.  I’m sure that off the court Kobe is consistently trying to find ways to beat people (insert Colorado trial jokes here).  But seriously, I think it would be awesome hanging out with Bryant.

It would be even more awesome to beat him.  Just knowing that I’d be able to wipe the floor at a few things against Kobe is a very satisfying feeling.  Yes I know, I need to get out more.

But if I were to play Kobe in the following 5 athletic contests, I don’t think he’d have a shot.

Hey don’t get me wrong, I’m a big fan of The Onion, but where do they get off making their logo look virtually the same as the sign for the Republic of Iran?  Actually now that I think about it, it seems pretty logical that the sordid minds of those that created The Onion would do such a thing.

Well, it’s that or they just wanted something that looked like an onion.   Either way, I really don’t care.  Point is, there are tons of logos, objects, signs, you name it, that look like everyday things that we simply overlook.
