Don’t get me wrong, Miss North Carolina’s Kristen Dalton was extremely attractive but let’s face it, the action of Kentucky’s Maria Elizabeth Montgomery was just much better.

Did anyone watch this thing by the way?  I flipped it on when they got to the final five and noticed that Keenan Thompson and Perez Hilton were judges.  It was actually pretty damned funny when Perez Hilton asked a question about Gay marriage to Carrie Prejean and she completely denounced it in front of a National audience.

Right then and there I said “well, she just lost.” Plus this sentence didn’t help her cause.  “We live in a land where you can choose same-sex marriage or opposite marriage.”  Yup, opposite marriage.  You’re fired.

OK I’m veering off the point though.  Well at least this year more than 50% of the chicks were hot.  And like I said, of those top five, I think Maria Elizabeth was by far the most attractive.

Eh, you win some you lose some.  Congratulations Miss Dalton.  I hope I see Miss Kentucky out there more…and preferably with a sex tape.

As all of you know by now, Isiah Thomas is the new coach of Florida International University.   While I personally believe he has a good shot of turning that program into something decent, that doesn’t mean Isiah won’t face tremendous challenges along the way.  Clearly recruiting will be tough, as well as getting his feet wet coaching in the NCAA.

But perhaps the biggest challenge Isiah is going to face is having to deal with watching the FIU Dancers better known as the Golden Dazzlers.   Little did  I realize how hot this squad is.  It’s a bold statement but I think this team rivals the USC Cheerleaders as well as UCLA Spirit Squad.

And yet again, it’s not just their work on the court, it’s their work off the court.  Oh and by the way this team happens to have a pair of twins Alexandra and Michelle Montesino….as if that’s not enough.

Aside from the fighting and maybe an occasional clip showing some amazing skill, the NHL is extremely boring to me.  It’s not that I don’t respect what these guys do for a living.  It’s not that I don’t admire the amount of toughness and effort it takes to play the sport.

But I simply don’t understand what the allure of watching guys skating across the ice for over an hour is.  Am I missing something?  It’s like soccer but a little bit better because of the fighting and players don’t go down crying all the time.

Fact is, there’s virtually no scoring and to me that makes it a problem.  Luckily I’ve come up with five solutions for the league that won’t require any tweaking with the game itself.
