10 Awesome “Yo DAWG” Meme Xzibit Posters
What in God’s name is a Meme? All I know is that the word Meme is extremely popular on the internet these days so I’m not gonna fight it. But here is the definition:
A meme (pronounced /miːm/ - like theme), a postulated unit or element of cultural ideas, symbols or practices, gets transmitted from one mind to another through speech, gestures, rituals, or other imitable phenomena. (The etymology of the term relates to the Greek word mimema for “something imitated”.) Supporters of the concept of memes believe that they act as cultural analogues to genes, in that they self-replicate and respond to selective pressures.
What does this exactly have to do with rapper Xzibit? Not a whole lot except the fact that some jokester decided to whip up a bunch of borderline hilarious meme posters of the man.
These couldn’t be any more random if they tried, but I just love the look on his face in every one of these
