I love the one with the rainbow coming out the back of the head. It is a bit disturbing, but damn, such wonderful conceptual and metaphoric expression.

The drawings of the children are just disturbing! Why would people bring these little angels into this world and then just desert them to bring themselves up.In the animal world, the wild, some mothers and dads eat their young and at times of famine or overpopulation will cull their offspring, are we animals? We go thru our lives with eyes closed to things to upsetting for our minds to fathom. The thought of the broken children that drew these pictures are an example of those things.I don't know if there is anything we could do to help these children that fall thru the cracks of society, but a start would be better gun control, stiffer penalities for sexual abuse of children, more leniency in reporting of suspected child abuse, contact and observation instruction/education for teachers and caregivers that spend more time with our kids than we have time to do.As parents we do need to make more time with our kids and insill moral value to them.
