I have to admit. I like the whole Corona Beer campaign: “Miles Away from Ordinary” I think it’s an excellent theme and a great idea. But you have to admit that it’s a little cheesy at times. It’s very hard to take any ad like that seriously considering it’s for an alcoholic beverage. And you know most of the people that drink it are on Spring Break doing anything they can to find a lime.
What’s with the lime thing? Did you know if you put a lime into a Budweiser it has the EXACT same effect as putting it in a bottle of Corona? Let’s give it a rest with the lime. Limes work in any beer.
So, before I got all sidetracked there. With the theme of Corona easily comes parody. And I think these 5 commercials nailed it.
