Amidst the Bronze Shoe story I figured it would be an interesting time to take a look at some other strange statue works from around the world.

You kind of have to wonder what goes through the mind of a sculptor when making a piece of art. Let me rephrase that. You have to wonder what goes through the mind of a sculptor when creating a statue of a shark crashing into the roof of a house.

And not only that. You have to wonder why in the world some people would allow these works to go up in public places. Don’t get me wrong, most of these are acceptable. But there are definitely a few that I probably wouldn’t want representing my town.
