It’s gotta be the shoes!

I really collected these videos not because they were so amazingly funny.  I’m not even sure how entertaining they were.  Well, yes, they were pretty damned entertaining.  But I was really amazed at how much times have changed.

Even as late as 1992 it practically looks like these commercials were shot in the early 80′s.  I remember 1987 Topps baseball cards like they were yesterday.  Time sure does fly.  And so do the careers of incredible athletes.

John Thain, former chief executive of Merrill Lynch, has been ousted from Bank of America Corp, just three weeks after the companies merged. Bank of America Chief Executive Kenneth Lewis expressed dismay last week about the scope of losses from mortgages and toxic debt on Merrill’s books. Investors and analysts said the losses made Thain’s position as head of global banking, securities and wealth management more tenuous.

Bank of America said the terms of Thain’s departure would be disclosed later

Just remember that last sentence people. For all you people who care about this stuff, and by no means am I saying that it’s not important….  I just want you guys to remember something.  This guy John Thain?

There’s just no way he cares about you or me.  And he’s got so many millions of dollars in this crap economy that is going to hurt millions of us, that it pretty much makes me sick.

Anyone who feels bad about this situation needs to look at the bigger picture.  Sure it’s big news but I just wanted to share that.  Carry on.

I’ve been trying for the last five minutes trying to come up with a good introduction to these pictures and honestly I got nothing.   I get the whole idea of extreme stuff.  But I think these people are taking these extremes to well….extremes.

You have to be pretty damned bored to decide to take an ironing board and an iron to exotic places and film all of this.  Why would one possibly decide to iron a shirt on the top of an ice cold mountain?  There’s really only one answer that I can come up with.

In my opinion it’s one thing to be a die hard sports fan.   I think that’s totally cool and 100% respectable.  But I think I kind of draw the line at people who seem to base their entire lives around a sports team.  I never understood that and never will.

I’m not saying that the gentlemen in this video base their whole lives around the Pittsburgh Steelers but I will say that I’m undoubtedly positive that they are extremely big losers.

There are many types of women out there, and I think I’ve somewhat pinned down the type of woman Amanda Brette Pogrell is.  She’s that blond, happy, amazingly fit, All-American type.  I’d like to think Amanda is very free with her body (hopefully in turn free with the booze though I doubt that).

Interesting though, it says in her Model Mayhem profile that she doesn’t do any nude work.   So how could she have been Playboy’s employee of the month then?  Does Playboy actually have a section of non-nude stuff?  Guys, get back to me on that one will ya?

I thought I’d seen in at all in the toolbox sector of Myspace.  I guess I was 100% wrong.   I’m pretty certain his name is Mike.  However, according to this guy’s profile it’s §«*_{^Mj^}_*»§. ‘   Yes…let me run that by you again.  His name is §«*_{^Mj^}_*»§. ‘

I’m gonna let you guys just sit on that one for a while.

Then I’m going to write a letter to Tom over at Myspace asking him if this is what he intended the site to be.  I would imagine his response will be “250 Million bitches”

The only reason I use heterosexual male in my title here is because I’m referring to the typical reader of this site.  Most of you guys out there are between 18-40 years old, single, and heterosexual.   At least that’s what my demographics are saying.

So by no means is this any knock on homosexuals.  I have zero problem with that and have plenty of gay friends.  I just felt the need to write this article because boy have I met some square dudes in my day.

And for the life of me I simply can’t understand how unfunny some people can be.
