15 Memorable Homeless Signs (And Some You Haven’t Seen)
By no means am I saying that being homeless is funny. In fact I’ll go on record in saying that I think it’s a horrible thing. I know that I generally try and give to the homeless if I see they are people who are generally down on their luck and hopefully getting back into the swing.
But that’s kind of besides the point. The point is that there are some pretty damned funny and creative homeless signs out there. And if you take the fact that these guys are actually homeless, you might get a chuckle.

Some of these are legitimately witty but the guy holding a sign advertising a website likely didn’t write it himself. Is it too much to ask that “memorable homeless signs” actually be written by homeless people, rather than merely foisted upon homeless people by middle class white guys desperate to mock them?

A couple of twenty-somethings in my town had a sign the other week that read, “We had to tear down our house to make this stupid sign.”

There is a guy in Austin that has a sign that says ” 25 cents O.B.O.” We actuallt went out of our way to give him a dollar at which he said “you know I can’t give out change right” which made it all the better.
Several years ago, I was driving along W. Flamingo Rd. in Las Vegas. I saw a guy holding a sign that read, “Why Lie? I Need A Beer!” I wanted to go somewhere and buy him a six-pack!
