In this new day and age of technology and “moving parts” in media, I feel like we don’t get to appreciate a good old fashioned album cover anymore.  Think about it.  Much emphasis is placed on the “trailer” and commercials leading up to a release of movies, music, even video games.

But back in the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s and even into some of the 90’s I can remember a time when if you saw a really cool album cover, video game cover, even DVD cover, that you’d be way more drawn in to buying one of these things.

However, one may look the opposite route.  I can guarantee you that while the high comedy of these albums might make you grin, you’d certainly move past them when making your purchase selections.

Here are some pretty crappy album covers

I’m just curious how much work actually went into these.  Zero chance that most of them took anything over 24 hours to make.  I mean how do you put blond wigs on two dogs and call it “Nelson?”  How did the actual Nelson approve of this?  I will say this though.  Pooh-Man is awesome.
