I want to go on record in saying that most people who fall for infomercials deserve it.  And the reason I say this is that I believe most Americans are get rich quick people.   Rather than working hard for a living it’s much easier to work quick, easy, and make tons of money right?

Wrong.  Unfortunately that’s just not reality, and that’s just not how things get done.  And while I believe there are plenty of scams out there, there are a fair amount of these programs that actually do work if you read the fine print, which is why those success stories actually do happen.  They just don’t tell you it’s 1 person out of 100,000 people who sign, and it’s that one person busting their ass for years to make it happen.

However, whether it’s a true internet scam or a viable product that actually has some uses, certain people on TV Infomercials annoy the living hell out of me, regardless of their credibility.  And here are 6 worth mentioning.

Tony Little

Tonly Little is a certified personal trainer and identifies himself as “America’s Personal Trainer”, and most of the products he sells on his infomercials are targeted to the personal fitness market. He is known for his over-the-top, hyper-enthusiastic personality and bald spot always covered by a baseball cap, and long blonde ponytail.

Funny isn’t this just code for “most annoying guy ever?”  “You can do it!”  About the only time I like Tony Little is when someone is mocking him.  Little isn’t a scam artist but he sure needs to get the hell off the screen.

Billy Mays

Kaboom!  Pow!  Screaming at the top of my lungs!

Mays is most notable for promoting OxiClean, Orange Glo, and other cleaning, home-based, and maintenance products. His signature yelling approach to pitching an array of products, along with his recognizable beard, have gained Mays a substantial amount of recognition.

Yeah but does this guy have to yell so much?  Jesus.  I suppose it works because I nearly bought Oxiclean (that was a joke).  Man I’d love to see this guy drunk.  Think about him sober and then add a few beers.  I’d love to rip his beard right off.

Kevin Trudeau

Trudeau was convicted of fraud and larceny in the early 1990s. The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has sued him numerous times. A court order currently restricts his ability to promote and sell any product or service. However, he is permitted to promote books and other publications due to free-speech protection under the First Amendment as long as they are not used to promote or sell products or services and do not contain misrepresentations

Put it this way:  Kevin Trudeau is going to hell 16 times over.   And another thing.  Anyone who ever bought this guy’s book is an idiot.  I’ll tell you why.  It’s one thing if he only focused on Natural Cures you Don’t Know About.  It’s another that this guy has peddled Memory Programs, Debt Cures, Facial Reconstruction, Pills, and plenty of MLM Schemes.  He’s the expert in an awful lot of stuff.  Do a little research people.  This guy sucks.

Matthew Lesko

Lesko is an American author and host of an infomercial often played late night on basic cable. He has authored reference books telling people how to get “free” money from the United States Government.

OK anyone who doesn’t hate this guy is a moron.  Next.

Don Lapre

Man even I almost got sucked in by this guy years back.  Remember this dude?  Little tiny classified ads right?  Just place little tiny ads in one newspaper, and then another, and another.  Before you know it.  You are wealthy.  Really?  What the hell is the product Don?  And does your “system” help us with it?

Amazingly enough, Don’s also an expert in Vitamins.  His enthusiasm on television made me want to puke.  I hope he’s lying in a ditch somewhere.  It’s been a while since we’ve seen him.

Dean Graziosi

Real Estate Investor?  Funny I saw him on an infomercial a few years back about selling cars.  Shouldn’t we be a bit skeptical?  Seriously could this guy be any more weasel-like?

Donald Barrett

This guy’s gonna bring the house down.

Donald Barrett is the founder and president of ITV Direct, an infomercial company producing infomercials for broadcast in the United States. Almost all are related to health and nutrition, or in the company’s words, “products that positively impact people”.In September 2006, he teamed up with Kevin Trudeau and produced infomercials to promote two of Trudeau’s health related books

This guy is going to get rich off of your money.  I repeat.  This guy is going to get rich off of your money.  Plus you can just smell the douchebagginess on him can’t you?
