The Fed-Ex-NFL-Safe Kids Event with Hines Ward (Plus one of the Fed Ex Employees is Hot)
Published three days ago:
He’s a wide receiver for the Steelers on the field, but today Hines Ward took over the role of coach during a visit to a local elementary school. Ward made a stop at Park Elementary School in Munhall to help unveil a new pedestrian safety clinic and teach kids a valuable lesson.
“Ball goes into the street,” Ward told the second grade students, “No! Let it go! Don’t’ run after that ball!” Ward was on hand to help coach the safety clinic aimed at keeping students safe on their walks to school. To help get the message across to students, the school transformed its gym into a “safety town.”
This article wasn’t meant to be funny. Once in a while I have a heart and whether it was Ward’s obligation or not to be there, I think it deserves mention.
With all the awful parenting going on out there, and with all of athletes who behave like children out there, it’s nice to see something like this. Seriously.
My next article will make fun of something, don’t worry.
I’ll be honest though, I think I like the portly Fed Ex guy more than Hines. Plus, Hines must have hit on that Fed Ex girl.
She’s definitely hot.
