I love a good plate of hummus as much as the next person but you'll be hard pressed to find it in Greece. Most people there have never heard of it unless they're familiar with Middle Eastern food. The Childress deal would be bad for the Hawks financially but a sixth man in the NBA can be a star in Europe. Can your starting five play 48 minutes with all the former bench players living like kings in Europe? Don't be short sighted, their 11 pts and 15 minutes a game will be sorely missed. This is the beginning of the watering down of talent in the NBA.

The hawks were smart to not give Childress this kind of money. They have enough young guys that could step up and replace his 11 points off the bench.

The Hawks are a disaster of an organization. That is crazy money for a 6th man in any country.
