As you may or may not know, the first day of the San Fermin Festival and its Running of the Bulls in Pamplona was yesterday. I’m going to try and cover this thing all week with photos.
Thirteen people were taken to hospital, one of them seriously injured, on the first day of the annual bull running festival in the northern Spanish town of Pamplona on Monday, organizers said.A 37-year-old man suffered a collapsed lung, ruptured spleen and broken ribs, while two people were concussed and 10 others were treated mainly for cuts and bruises.
And while it will always remain a dumb idea to run in a narrow street with tons of bulls wanting to shove their horns up your ass, the pictures and tradition will always be pretty money.
More of this to follow throughout the week
