This is the Happiest Country in the World?
I guess they look happy.
Denmark, with its democracy, social equality and peaceful atmosphere, is the happiest country in the world, researchers said on Monday. Zimbabwe, torn by political and social strife, is the least happy, while the world’s richest nation, the United States, ranks 16th.
OK, I understand that Denmark is the happiest country in the world. Congratulations to them. We’re all pumped.
But of every picture in the entire country of Denmark to represent its happiness, Reuters’s ends up selecting 3 pierced lesbians? One hot with a piercing in her lower lip, one fat with a skull necklace, and then the Robin to her Batman on the right.
If this is what it takes to be happy, shouldn’t we just have gay pride parades year around? Then I’d just kill myself and that in turn would probably make me happy.
