Has anyone ever heard of the Country Stampede?
Well neither have I. All I know is that I was surfing around some photo sharing sites and found out that there’s this crazy weekend concert event called the “Country Stampede” located in Topeka, Kansas.
Officially the concert takes place in Tuttle Creek State Park which is north of Manhattan, Kansas. So essentially we’re looking at a scene very similar to that in Dazed and Confused.
Eh, maybe I just get excited at seeing pictures of parties that I know I’ll never be a part of again. Enjoy the women drinking beer and guys wearing daisy dukes. I have nothing left in me.

Looks like a helluva tailgate party. And I would know.
I was at the Country Stampede. Been the last 3 years. Your pictures are a quite tame look into what takes place over those 4 days.

Country stampede is by far the most fun you will ever have. I think you need to proofread your article. Guys wearing daisy dukes?? Not sure what you are into but I dont enjoy that nor do you see much of that at stampede. Two days until Stampede 2009
