I’m sorry but how does this not draw more fans? Get Cricket in the U.S.

The AP Reports that “Arizona State dropped its men’s swimming, men’s tennis and wrestling programs Tuesday in an effort to save about $1 million per year.

Up to 70 athletes will be affected, and six full-time coaching positions will be eliminated, the school said. Head coaches will remain under contract through November.”

And this brings up an important topic. If you’re trying to save a million, how about trying to make a million by adding another sport?

Invest a tiny bit of cash for the equipment, recruit professional cheerleaders and convert the men’s tennis team from racket hitting guys to cricket gentlemen.

I swear I’m going to be lobbying for Cricket in the U.S. until the day I die.
